Ritual Art in Nature

Between Spring 2012 to Spring 2016, 2 artists came together to create and run a series of regular workshops entitled Ritual Art in Nature.

These day long workshops were facilitated from both an environmental arts and therapeutic perspective, drawing on nature connection and working lightly with collective myth and personal stories.
End of the Story 1.jpg
Nature is a fertile place of renewal and transformation, inspiring our imagination and awakening our soul.

Ritual Art in Nature enters into a dialogue with nature,
beginning an enquiry into our own nature
and what we may find, sometimes unexpectedly,
mirrored in our surroundings.
Through engaging with this process
of making environmental art, we reveal the light and shade of ourselves  Enabling us to celebrate the changing seasons both within and without.

Here are a further selection of the many images we collected over the 4 years

A little note about this website

Perfectly scrollable for your phone,

but designed by RJT with a bigger screen in mind, ENJOY . . .

A NOTE ABOUT IMAGES & PHOTOGRAPHS

The majority of photographs and images on this website have been taken/created by RJT

and a handful of nature shots by Candida Corcoran.

As for the rest, they were taken as part of specific projects, for the R50 Project for Resurgence - Roy Riley,

for Bravery School Artists Residency, Hannah Wirgman, Sarah Robbins,

and for Bravery School Showcase Performance and Q&A - Claire Williams

As for some of the older images,

I wholeheartedly apologise to all of the photographers whose names over the mists of time

have been lost . . . but I thank you for contributing to this portfolio of images.
